What is the role of the body and DMT in your practice?: My various identities as a practitioner of the body - a DMT, a Personal Trainer, a Pilates teacher, a Dancer - coexist in my work with my clients. Through these lenses, I am able to occupy roles of a therapist, a coach, a teacher, an artist as and when deemed necessary. My therapeutic process is somatically, creatively, and cognitively driven. Communication, no matter verbal or non-verbal, lies on a wide spectrum from Function to Expression.Talking, movement & dance, drawing, and imaginative play comprise my sessions. Integration of these mediums allows my clients and I to collaboratively, explore our uncomfortable zones.
