What is the role of the body and DMT in your practice?: As someone who began her journey as a professional Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher, the body has always been central to how I understand and engage with the world. Dance Movement Therapy has deepened that connection and significantly enriched my work as a therapist. In my practice, the body is not separate from the mind. It holds stories, memories, and emotions that words alone may not access.I see my role as helping people attune to their own embodied wisdom, discover their innate flow, and express their unique emotional and physical selves with authenticity and ease. Each session strengthens my convictions that every body has its's own voice and when heard, it can reveal to us our own selves.
